As the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games draws nearer, 54 sports venues are expected to be completed this year.

Hangzhou Normal University, which is located in Future Sci-Tech City, will host volleyball and rugby events of the 19th Asian Games. The school has worked to give its sports venue an overall upgrade to accommodate 12,000 spectators during the Games. The venue will also be used for teaching, as well as football and athletics competitions after the Games.

Jianggan Sports Center, another sports venue of the Games, has also upgraded its facilities, including an outdoor basketball park and rainbow-colored runways, aiming to offer the public a better exercise experience.
