Hangzhou residents can now enjoy more convenient computerized tomography tests, as a mobile medical treatment vehicle mounted with a CT machine and 5G network has been put into use, local media outlets reported on March 18.

The vehicle is the first of its kind in Hangzhou and was refitted by the No 1 People's Hospital of Xiaoshan district from a coach bus.

The vehicle's 5G network enables the patients' image information to be transmitted to the hospital in a fast and efficient manner, allowing doctors to diagnose and send test reports and initial diagnosis and treatment suggestions back to patients directly.

The vehicle aims to provide people in residential communities and rural areas with convenient medical access and high-quality medical resources.
