Zhejiang authorities released Heritage Brain, a monitoring and warning platform for the Archeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Annual Meeting for China's World Cultural Heritages held in the provincial capital of Hangzhou Nov 4.

The Archeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, which date back 5,300 years, were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2019. In the same year, construction of Heritage Brain got underway. The platform has a data center that integrates the functions of data collection, review, monitoring, analysis, evaluation and management.

Using Heritage's Brain, local authorities plan to upgrade the protection work on the archeological ruins, setting a benchmark for management teams of other cultural sites around the world.
