The Zhejiang Song and Dance Theater will hold a concert for cultural music at 19:30 on Sept 30. It is a prelude to celebrations for the Mid-Autumn Day on Oct 1, local media reported. Seats are priced at 80, 120 or 180 yuan ($11.8, 17.7 and 26.6), depending on location.

The concert will feature orchestral music, male-and-female duets, flute, and suona, a Chinese traditional wind instrument with a double-reed mouthpiece.

Renowned performers such as conductor Chen Zhenxuan, erhu (a Chinese violin with a two-stringed bow) player Chen Jia, suona player Song Guangshun, and flute player Zhu Wei will perform at the event.

Established in 1957, the Zhejiang Song and Dance Theater is dedicated to developing and promoting cultural music, especially music from Zhejiang and the Yangtze River Delta region. It has cultivated a number of talented performers who have composed their own folk music.
