Intl cartoon and anime festival to open on Sept 29

The China International Cartoon and Animation Festival, which has been held every year for the past 15 years, will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang from Sept 29 to Oct 10 this year.
The festival will consist of exhibitions, forums, business fairs, competitions, and other activities.
It will focus primarily on Chinese animation and showcase the achievements of China's best animation and video game enterprises, including CCTV Animation, Alibaba Group, Tencent, and NetEase, in an effort to promote Chinese animation and cultural confidence.

Animation has become an international cultural language and serves as a new medium for promoting Chinese culture overseas.
The Online Cartoon, Animation, and Games Industrial Trade Fair was held in Hangzhou from April 28 to May 5 as a prelude to the 16th China International Cartoon Animation Festival.
