The 2020 China International Kids Fashion Week was held at Fashion Town in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province from Aug 21 to 24.
An annual gala to showcase fashion trends for children apparel, this year's edition attracted a number of Chinese and foreign childrenswear brands that presented 32 fashion shows and featured over 1,500 child models.
Launched in Hangzhou's Yuhang district in 2015, Fashion Town is now home to more than 1,450 companies and has been playing a leading role in China's fashion industry.
Based on a cooperative agreement inked on May 20, the town can receive support from the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the China National Garment Association, and the China Fashion Association.
It had on June 20 unveiled a long-term plan to develop itself into an innovative base for digital fashion. The plan includes bringing in tech giants such as ByteDance and rolling out preferential policies for e-commerce and live-streaming industries.
