No need to worry about food safety at Hangzhou's Burger King (BK) restaurants, local media reported on July 17.
The municipal market supervision bureau carried out food quality inspections at all BK restaurants immediately after the US fast food chain brand on Thursday apologized that some of its restaurants in Nanchang, Jiangxi province had served expired food and burgers with inadequate ingredients.
After several rounds of on-site inspections and examinations of surveillance videos, Hangzhou's 43 BK restaurants, including one franchised outlet at the Xiaoshan International Airport, were not found to contain similar quality control or food safety problems.

However, the service time of water filters at one restaurant was not recorded correctly and the inspection officers issued a warning.
The manager of BK's Hangzhou headquarters will visit the municipal market supervision bureau on July 17.
Ehangzhou.gov.cn will offer updates on the situation.
