According to the Sixth National Census conducted in 2010, there were nearly 21 million hearing-impaired people in China. Apart from inconveniences in their daily lives, it's also difficult for them to communicate with sellers when shopping online. In July 2019, the first deaf anchors started livestreaming in Hangzhou. Ziwei is one of those with hearing disability now in this industry. While livestreaming, Ziwei uses sign language to introduce goods to hearing-impaired consumers. For Ziwei and other deaf anchors, livestreaming is not an easy job but they didn't give up, because they want to help their community.
