Hangzhou Museum held an exhibition displaying art works themed on the fight against the COVID-19 on May 10, according to museum officials in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.

The exhibition showcased more than 100 works of art, including traditional Chinese paintings, calligraphy, oil paintings, printmaking, paper cuttings and comics.

Officials said the exhibition received positive feedback from the Chinese Artists Association and other artist associations in Hubei, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Jilin and Hunan provinces as well as in Chongqing city.

A number of well-known artists including Dai Daquan, a professor at the College of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and Wu Weishan, vice-chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, donated their works to the exhibition.

The exhibition also featured some works from children from kindergartens and primary schools.

Officials said that for the sake of novel coronavirus epidemic control, Hangzhou Museum only allows 800 visitors at most to enter the premises. Visitors need to make reservations on the WeChat account of Hangzhou Museum (WeChat account: hzmuseum).
