Hangzhou recently upgraded its health code system developed during the novel coronavirus outbreak, enabling residents to complete all the necessary procedures to receive medical treatment at the hospital.

A local citizen surnamed Yang expressed his amazement after he completed all the procedures, including making reservations, seeking medical treatment, paying, and receiving medicine, using the upgraded health code.

Since the launch of the heath code system, Hangzhou has made continuous efforts to develop its so-called City Brain system with the aim of turning Hangzhou into an intelligent city.

Since April 22, Hangzhou residents have been able to use the upgraded system to seek medical help at all public hospitals in Hangzhou as well as a number of drugstores and social medical institutes.
