More than half of companies in the Yuhang Industrial Internet Town have seen their orders increasing amid worldwide coronavirus tensions, officials from the management committee of the industrial internet town in Linping New City, Yuhang district, Hangzhou, said.

According to Cai Mingmao, chairman of Hangzhou Lingshijia Technology Co, the value of trade deals this year has exceeded those of last year.

Hangzhou Lingshijia Technology Co is a company that helps traditional food processing companies upgrade technologically.

Since the virus outbreak, many manufacturing companies have seen the enormous potential of intelligent factories and have made attempts to transform their own factories.

Cai said that his company is currently working on six intelligent factory upgrade projects.

The Yuhang Industrial Internet Town in Linping New City began operating last August and has already attracted 37 companies specializing in industrial internet technology.

Officials from the town's management committee said that the town has launched many favorable policies directed at companies engaged in research related to 5G, information software, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and internet of things.

The town is also home to many high-caliber professionals.
