The Future Community of the Hangzhou-Kong Kong High-End Service Industry Demonstration Zone broke ground at the construction site of the Hangzhou New World in Xiacheng district, Hangzhou, on March 25.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, construction on seven major projects in Xiacheng district also began. 

The seven projects received 30.2 billion yuan ($4.27 billion) in investment and involve city infrastructure, people's livelihoods, and industrial development.

Other projects include construction of affordable housing, the Jinjiang Financial Tower, and the Hangzhou Gold Land Center, as well as renovations on Fuxing Road.
