A massive online job fair opened on Feb 26 in Hangzhou, offering 28,000 jobs to jobseekers.

The large online fair was organized by the talent offices of the Zhejiang CPC Committee and Hangzhou CPC Committee.

More than 1,000 well-known companies, universities, and institutes attended the fair. Applicants can submit their resumes by simply scanning the QR code and making an appointment with companies for an interview.

The companies, universities, and institutes attending the fair include Alibaba, Netease, Zhejiang University, the China Academy of Art, Westlake University, and Zhejiang Lab, which offered jobs in the fields of digital economy, biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, financial services, human resources, medical care, and education.

Zhejiang University hopes to recruit 210 high-caliber researchers and 500 postdoctoral scholars during the fair, while the Zhejiang Lab offered 900 jobs for researchers.

Well-known companies such as Alibaba, Netease, Hikvision, and Geely each offered hundreds of jobs at the fair.

The online recruitment system used allows 100,000 people to be online simultaneously. People can post job vacancies, talk with each other, and even sign contracts using the system.

The fair, deemed Zhejiang's largest ever online job fair, will run until March 26.

Companies and jobseekers can scan the following QR code to sign up for the fair.
