Hangzhou in Zhejiang province boasts charming scenery in every season. Here are some of the best places to visit each month.
January
There is a 100,000-square-meter ski resort in a mountainous area with an altitude of more than 1,200 meters, near the Daminghu Lake in Lin’an district. It is the largest ski resort in East China.
February
Chaoshan Mountain in Yuhang district is one of the top three scenic spots in Jiangnan - or south of the Yangtze River - for plum blossoms. More than 50,000 plum blossom plants will come into full bloom in February.

Taiziwan Park in downtown Hangzhou boasts a vast expanse of cherry blossoms and tulips.
