Hangzhou expo demonstrates future of transportation

The second Zhejiang International Intelligent Transport Industry Expo and Future Transportation Conference were held in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, from Dec 6 to 8.
The expo featured a series of advanced vehicles and technology, including a maglev capable of running at speeds of up to 600 kilometers per hour, unmanned aerial vehicles, and more.
During the expo, an ambitious plan to build a Future Transport Town in Dangwan town, Xiaoshan district was revealed.
In recent years, Xiaoshan has been focusing on the development of its transport industry and has spent 200 billion yuan ($28.41 billion) building a complete transportation network.
The Future Transport Town will revolve around the manufacture of vehicles, rail cars and the development of information technology and autonomous driving technology. Advanced transportation technology projects will also be carried out in the town.
