Dongziguan affordable homes in Dongziguan village, Fuyang district, Hangzhou were awarded a gold ARCASIA Award for Architecture during the Architects' Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) Forum in Dacca, capital of Bangladesh, on Nov 5.
Meng Fanhao, chief designer of the affordable homes, accepted the award. He delivered a speech entitled "Advance with the Times, Echo with Nature" at the awards ceremony.
In addition to Meng, seven other Chinese architects were honored with gold ARCASIA Awards for Architecture.
The ARCASIA awards for Architecture were initiated by the Architects Regional Council Asia. They have become a top award in Asia's architecture industry.
