An exhibition featuring Hangzhou's folk arts and crafts opened in Hangzhou Science and Technology Museum, Zhejiang province on Aug 28, local media reported.

Featuring more than 100 works, including peasant paintings, paper-cutting, colored-lanterns, embroidery, bamboo weaving, and traditional drama crafts, the exhibition allows visitors to have a comprehensive look at Hangzhou's folk handicrafts through three sectors.

Aside from gems by older skilled craftsmen, works by younger generations featuring the combination of intangible cultural heritages with cultural and creative products are also on display, according to organizers.

The exhibition lasts until Sept 15.
