Four months after the "Taste of Hangzhou" Asian Cuisine Festival, Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, is welcoming another gourmet gala from Sept 20 to 22.

The first China (Hangzhou) International Food Expo, with the slogan "make food better with digital economy," will shed light on the integrated development of digital economy and the catering industry through a wide range of forums, exhibitions and activities.

The expo is expected to include more than 100 worldwide gourmets and be attended by more than 100,000 visitors.

Leading companies in the food and beverage industry from home and abroad will exhibit their latest applications of new food-related technologies, offering an up-close look at the groundbreaking developments being brought about by digital economy.

A gourmet festival aiming to showcase the rich history and diversified development of Hangzhou cuisine will also be held on the sidelines of the event.

The expo is co-organized by the Hangzhou government and the China Hospitality Association.
