Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, has laid out six measures to reform its business system and optimize its business-friendly environment, the municipal market supervision bureau announced on July 23.

Starting from Aug 1, applicants need only visit the nearest service center to submit all the required documents for opening a business. The information will then be uploaded and shared among various departments, eliminating the need to visit multiples government agencies.

Streamlined administrative procedures for individual businesses looking to apply for, alter, or cancel registration will be further implemented.

To ensure the authenticity of enterprise registration, Hangzhou will introduce a real name registration system for the applicants in an effort to curb illegal activities such as false registration of shareholders.

In terms of law enforcement, Hangzhou will strengthen supervision of data using internet and digital technologies and upgrade the mobile application of administrative services.

Efforts will also be made to advance cooperation between government departments and banks to provide high-quality, efficient and convenient services for new enterprises.

Over the years, Hangzhou has been making efforts to improve its investment environment with administrative reforms under the principle of "At Most One Visit", which aims to cut down on red tape and provide greater convenience for businesses by providing digitized tools, building digitized sharing platforms and developing data analysis methods.
