Located in the central part of Binjiang district, Jindongfang Community borders Jianshe River in the east, Jianghan Road, Chunxiao Road and Beitang River in the south, Jianghui Road in the west and Binhe Road in the north, and covers 0.227 square kilometers.

It is home to 69 units of 35 buildings in two residential complexes -- Dongfangjun (Orient Shire) and Bojin Shidai (Platinum Age), which can accommodate 4,022 households. A total of 10,052 people of 3,596 households, including 4,265 permanent residents in 1,441 households, live in the community.
